About Us

The Outdoor Club at the University of Oklahoma (OUOC) is a student-led organization dedicated to bringing students together through outdoor recreation, adventure, and exploration. Founded in 2020 and reestablished in 2025, the club provides opportunities for students of all experience levels to discover new places, learn outdoor skills, and build lasting friendships.

OUOC organizes a wide variety of activities throughout the year, including camping trips, hikes, backpacking adventures, paddling excursions, climbing outings, service projects, social events, and educational workshops. From local day trips to multi-day expeditions, our goal is to help students experience the outdoors in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.

Whether you're an experienced outdoorsperson or trying something new for the first time, OUOC offers opportunities to connect with nature, challenge yourself, and become part of a community that values adventure, leadership, and responsible recreation.
